This starter drive assembly is the engagement power unit for starter motors. It transfers motor torque to the flywheel on cranking, then disengages and free‑spins once the engine starts, to protect the starter from reverse damage. Ideal fix for weak cranking, gear slipping and intermittent no‑start issues.
